The Golden Jubilee Fund is a Community Social Fund.
Background: There are various organisations within the village that are able to sponsor various requests for funds, but the Golden Jubilee Fund is unique in that it was generated from money raised by villagers to pay for the 2002 Golden Jubilee celebrations. The fund has continued with the purpose of bringing pleasure to the residents of West Deeping.
Following on from the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the fund has provided spring bulbs, a bench and flowers for the wild flower area in the Tinsley Playing Field.
Going Forward: The immediate objective is to arrange a further village event on the Tinsley Playing Field for June 2008.
